Matric Results 2023 January Online Release Date: (nsc matric results 2023) South Africa: The National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations 2023 commonly referred to as “matric” has become an annual event of major public significance. It not only signifies the culmination of twelve years of formal schooling but the NSC examinations is a barometer of the health of the education system.
DBE Chief Director National Assessments and Examinations Rufus Poliah has thanked all roleplayers for their contribution to the successful 2023May/June Grade 12 examinations.
He said, “In terms of the success of the exam thus far, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to all our colleagues who work beyond the normal call of duty both at the provincial level as well as our colleagues at DBE”.
Poliah explain that officials worked hard to ensure that question papers are delivered to schools on time and that the scripts are collected on time. The post-examination administrative period is now underway which includes the marking of exam scripts and capturing of marks.
The DBE (Department of Basic Education) has just announced that the 2021 Matric Exams will be completed by 15 December this year.
- The marking for the matric exams will be finished by 22 December 2022.
- And the matric class of 2021 will get its results on 20 January 2022.
