With just about two weeks left until the final exams, the DBE has tabled its plans on how it will proceed with the third round of National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations during the pandemic.

The department has also announced the following important dates for the 2021 matriculants:
• January 2023– Minister announces results
• January 2023 – Provinces release results.
• October 2023 – National Senior Certificate exams commence.
• December 2023 – Last day of matric exams.
• January 2023 – Umalusi evaluates results.
Motshekga encouraged the importance of supporting learners and ensuring that they stay school until they obtain their matric.
The DBE Minister has wished all matriculants well and urged parents and communities to support them during this stressful time.
